LEGO turned 50 today. In a related story, I was trying to track down some information on LEGO brick sizes, and stumbled up on this guy's website. He's a professional LEGO sculptor, and his stuff totally rocks. Enjoy!
So the minds that brought us Terminator 3 and Smallville now are set to deliver Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles TV show on Fox. What a bag of mixed emotions this is. Terminator 3 was a huge disappointment and I'm having a hard time digesting the idea of a Terminator production without Arnold.
There is a hint of intrigue however. If done well, despite the previews that lead me to believe it has not been, it could breath new live into the franchise and give us Terminator fans something new to latch onto.
It's set in the years following the events of T2: Judgement Day and Sarah and John are trying to avoid the cops, stay off the radar, and stop the further development of Skynet. As one would expect there is a friend from the future (a woman) sent back to help them and a Terminator sent back to destroy them (appears to be another 101-type model only it's not Arnold).
I'd like to say I have high hopes. I'd like to say I'll give it a chance and watch a few episodes. However, I make no promises. But in a month I may ask "Have you seen Sarah Connor... Chronicles?"
